• Constructed, assembled, maintained and repaired stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries. Aligned structures or plate sections to assemble boiler frame, tanks or vats, following blueprints. Welded with various welding processes (TIG, MIG and stick).
• Utilized lockout-tagout procedures and duties when working on high voltage equipment, plant processes, and de-energized equipment to safeguard employees from unexpected energization or startup of machinery and equipment, or the release of any hazardous energy.
• Trained in atmospheric monitoring in confined spaces and areas while working and monitoring for extended periods of time.
• Actively participated in safety work groups.

• Provide supervision, leadership and vision to the facility by overseeing work crews and staff with the development of plans in a safe and timely manner.
• Actively participate in safety work groups as well as conducted safety meetings.
• Trained on MultiRAE Lite Monitor and MSA Altair Monitor to ensure acceptable atmospheric conditions during welding and burning and all confined space activities.
• Work with air purifying respirators (disposable particulate mask, half mask, full face mask, powered air purifying mask, and gas mask) and supplied air respirators (air line respirators, emergency escape breathing apparatus, and self contained breathing apparatus).
• Assess work environment for occupational health issues by examining the work conditions, sampling, preparing complete and accurate technical reports of survey studies and findings and giving recommendations on how to make changes in the working conditions for avoiding accidents.

• Responsible for installing, trouble-shooting, repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals.
• Assist and support supervision in ensuring the monitoring, controls and processes for reducing and controlling chemical, biological and physical hazards were in compliance with all applicable procedures, policies, operational requirements, safety guidelines and state and federal regulations.
• Actively participate with safety work groups.
• Familiar with various safety and health regulations including OSHA, ACGIH, NIOSH & ANSI standards.
• Trained on Draeger Accurio Pump and the GASTEC Gas Sampling Pump.
