Background and Acomplishments
- Part of a winning culture with a very successful prep basketball career in my native town of Lipan that included 8 state basketball championships and 24 state trips, both boys and girls
- Collectively part of a coaching tree that has produced 18 state basketball championships, between Argyle, Brock and Lipan.
- Collectively as an assistant coach at Richardson High school being an integral part in multiple teams becoming 3 time Bi-district champions and getting coaching staff of the year.
- Head coach of multiple sports;Basketball, Cross Country , Tennis and Softball.
- As the Head Coach I spearheaded the turnaround of the girls' basketball team at Wortham High School, which went from the last place team, with 3 previous wins total, to improvement of 12 wins and making the playoffs for the first time in 5 years.
- As the Head Coach I spearheaded the turnaround of the girls' basketball team at Deleon which went from the last place team, with 4 previous wins total, to 13 wins, and 4th place in district;
- As the Head Coach I spearheaded the turnaround of the girls' basketball team at Midway which went from 6th place team, with 8 previous wins total, to 14 wins, and 4th place in district;
- Led the freshmen girls' basketball team at Mesquite Horn, which in 2018 , 2019 and 2020 were undefeated district champions, with a total record 63-5 .
- In 15 years have Never had a losing Sub- Varsity season.
