Through my internship with VAW Global, I participated in a two-week medical outreach in rural Peru, contributing to efforts that expand healthcare access in underserved communities. Working side-by-side with local professionals, I took part in delivering primary care services, public health education, and mobile clinic support. This immersive experience deepened my understanding of healthcare disparities and strengthened my ability to adapt in unfamiliar, high-need environments.
