Quality Assessment of Beach Sand in Mostaganem (Sidi Mejdoub as Case Study), Conducted fungi and bacterial analysis on the wet beach sand collected where the microbes isolated were purified and identified. The fungus isolates (Penicillium, yeast, Cladosporium,) and the bacteria isolates (Enterobacteria, Staphylococcus, Pseudomonas) were identified by microscopic and macroscopic observation. A biochemical test such as a Catalase test, Oxidase test, Salt Tolerance Test, and Antibiotic Susceptibility Test (AST) was carried out on the bacterial isolates to further identify them and determine the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) of various antibiotics.
