· Performs Triaging in consideration of the urgency of complaint based on Emergency Severity Index
· Performs head to toe assessment to all patients including past medical history taking.

· Administers medication by mouth, optic, nasal, iv, rectal, ET, subcutaneous, IM and nebulizers with knowledge of the cause and effect thereof
· Administers Intravenous fluids including Blood and Blood components with strict monitoring
· Oxygenation via NC, face mask, venturi mask, non re-breather, tracheal and bag-valve mask.
· Catheter insertion: NGT, Foley catheter for male and female
· Care for patients with PEG, NGT and colostomy bags
· Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures: XRAY, CT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, 2d echo, venous duplex scan
· Assist Trauma patients: application of cervical collar, arm sling, bandage application, wound care and dressing
· Assist patient for surgery and informs anesthesiologist for evaluation, including patients for stat coronary angiogram.

· Performs ACLS
· Assess patient and significant others learning needs and educate on patient’s health needs as deemed necessary
· Performs a timely and accurate documentation of all pertinent observations and patient care interventions rendered.
· Anticipates and attends to patient and his/her significant others’ needs to fulfill the goal of customer delight
· Ensures and monitors patient turn-around-time in accordance with the standards of clinical outcomes and pathways (STEMI, Brain Attack Team)
· Facilitates Admission (ICU/telemetry/Regular Room/Isolation room) and Discharge.
· Facilitates Ambulance Conduction (land and air) whether transport-in or transport out.
· Performs independent nursing interventions utilizing the nursing process framework
· Escalates panic values of laboratory tests and patient’s concerns to doctors and appropriate authorities
· Ensures that all doctors are informed of their referrals, admissions and discharge promptly.
· Prepares equipment and instruments and ensures its safety, functionality and sterility
· Collaborates with doctors, ancillary services, pharmacy, laboratory, dietary, billing and admission office, patient experience officer and other patient’s requirements that they need to provide.
