I am a dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience helping individuals and families navigate trauma, grief, and life’s most challenging moments. My journey has included serving as a hospital chaplain at UC Davis Medical Center’s Level 1 trauma center, where I supported patients and families through crisis and healing, as well as providing culturally competent, trauma-informed therapy to veterans and civilians.
Certified in Veteran Evolution Therapy, I specialize in addressing the unique challenges faced by veterans, including moral injury and life transitions. My therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, and Gottman Therapy, tailored to each client’s needs. I also bring a creative perspective to therapy, having developed music therapy programs and co-authored Murphy’s Laws of Mental Health Practice, a resource designed to destigmatize mental health care through humor.
I am passionate about fostering resilience and guiding clients toward renewed purpose and emotional well-being. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, my goal is to provide holistic, personalized care that empowers clients to live fulfilling lives.
