This group meets twice a month at Ability Point to learn and advocate on behalf of individuals with disabilities to the Kansas Legislature. This involves attending workshops to understand the ID/D Waiver system in KS; writing letters, making phone calls, and meeting with legislators in Topeka; working to understand legislative proposals and advocate for bills that further the flourishing of individuals with disabilities in KS.
