  • Apprenticing under Lead Free/Tin Mitigation SME: XRF analysis/SEM on solder joints of CCAs, component health assessments, sustain tin mitigation database, and 'Pinsky' tin mitigation analysis to determine self mitigation.
  • Active member of the Engineering Parts and Materials Control Board (EPMCB), working on critical issues in Materials Engineering, and EARNS alerts such as GIDEPs, ERAIs, Internal Raytheon Alerts and Enterprise Alerts. Leading biweekly meetings to identify which programs need the help of EPMCB and Materials Engineering to solve supplier and production issues in a timely matter and to contact programs with the correct SME as needed. Presenting alert status at monthly EPMCB meetings.
  • IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification. Additional knowledge/use of J-STD-001, IPC-6012, Raytheon Tin Mitigation Document.
  • Work with team to create a Lead Free Control Plan template for MDA programs.
  • Tin mitigation analysis, destructive physical analysis (DPA), failure analysis of various fastener parts, CCAs and electrical components as well as missile part teardowns, plating defect analysis, and other testing to ensure materials and processes comply with drawing and specification requirements (PMPMP, TAMP... etc.) Became a go-to for cross sectioning of CCAs (vias, solder, BGAs, solder joints) and other mechanical components such as screws for thread analysis and other items for plating thickness.
  • Planned, scheduled and coordinated detailed test plans, project updates and engineering reports of projects with programs, manufacturers/suppliers, and team members.
