All associated claims, including affidavits/declarations will be processed, based on the consideration of Regulations E and Regulations Z that must be followed, both Federal and Card Association regulations. This will include handling all claims and disputed activity on customer accounts related to fraudulent or unauthorized activity on cards (Representments and Rebuttal Letters). Analyst will process second phase to claims if presented by the merchant in the representment stage, which will require further investigation.
Provide department support to the department for all daily reports that must be worked to ensure proper handling of all issues. Assure the regulatory and internal timeframes are met to avoid compliance violations, which include but are not limited to issuance of credit, reversal of fees, and mailing appropriate notifications to customers, case closure timeframes.
Provide departmental support of all imaging of work processed in the area to ensure all documentation is handled properly by type.
Provide backup to all other roles within Financial Crimes Card Claims on an as needed basis.
