Kade Reyher

I offer a strong foundation in criminal justice principles and eagerness to learn and develop in any law enforcement environment. I bring the ability to quickly grasp new information and apply investigative techniques learned in my formal law enforcement roles. I also possess ready to use and develop analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in needed in a Special Operations role.

• Through street level investigative techniques I assisted a local agency with apprehending a double homicide suspect that was on actively evading law enforcement.
• Appointed the position of Narcotics Detective and Police Scuba Diver within the first two years of employment at the Venice Police Department.
• Venice High School State Championship winning assistant varsity football coach and helped team be ranked the 4th best football team in the country in 2024.
• Earned a scholarship from Saint Anselm College and played football at the collegiate level.

On December 31st, 2023 I was working an overtime DUI detail when I responded to a call of a single vehicle traffic crash where the vehicle had driven into a pond and the driver was unable to exit. I was the first officer on scene and observed an elderly female in the drivers seat and the front of the vehicle almost completely submerged underwater. I then entered the water and forced the drivers side door open and pulled the driver out of the vehicle and onto the bank of the pond. Once on the bank of the pond I observed the driver to show obvious signs of impairment from alcohol and assisted a Venice Police Department Traffic Officer with completing a DUI Investigation resulting in the arrest of the driver.
