Work History

Electrical Engineer

CMI NOVAVCAST
09.2022 - Current

I design control panels using AutoCad Electrical. Every design is specific to the customers needs.

  • Identified specific cables, fuses and circuit breakers required for assigned installations.
  • Evaluated electrical installations and systems to isolate faults and implement corrective actions.
  • Read and analyzed blueprints and project documentation to develop workflows and strategy.
  • Estimated project costs and resource allocation to forecast budget requirements and monitor adherence.
  • Reduced electrical construction hazards with upgraded safety policies and stringent enforcement.
  • Used established formulae to calculate current loads and short circuit currents.
  • Inspected completed installations to observe operations and verify conformance to design and equipment specifications.
  • Get Electrical Control panels certified by CSA or UL 508.

VOLUNTEER HELP

Chicago Hyperloop
01.2021 - 12.2021
  • Group of student including myself worked on the structure of the hyperloop
  • We used solid works, ANSYS for simulations of parts
  • Also, the levitation part of this group we did research on Linear Induction Motors(LIM)
  • Big part of the volunteer work was for visual learning and it was research heavy
  • Senior design -We designed a easySpoon device that assists people who are suffering Parkinson's disease
  • I assisted in designing a spoon by using a MPU6050, which has both the 3-Axis accelerometer, and 3 Axis gyroscope integrated on a single chip
  • Also, we used Arduino hardware, micro-servo motors, and C coding to counteractive movements that's caused by its users
  • Developed a personalized PCB design by using Easy EDA software for this project
  • The fabrication process was done by JLCPCB
  • Projects
  • Robotics Algorithm & Control -Assembled a mobile robot that was ran by Raspberry Pi
  • I helped assist in decoding python codes that was given to us to help perform tasks
  • The robot had sensors, camera to pick up chessboard images to get to its destination
  • Software codes named Bug1, Bug2, and Bug3 was given to us
  • Each Bug was designed for different tasks for the robot to perform which we had to debug.
