I am currently enrolled in Session 114 of the Utah State University Eastern Police Academy in the SFO block. I intend to finish all the way through the LEO block to become a certifiable police officer. My main desire is to return to Tooele and work there as a city or county officer as that is where I was born and raised and feel close with the community there and feel it would be the best place to start my street work. I have been living in Price for almost five years with my original goal to receive a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. After receiving my associates it became difficult to continue schooling due to struggling with online classes. After taking some time to work a full-time job at Intermountian Electronics and marrying my wife two years ago I decided to start my career in my desired field. My wife is also likely to have a child around the time I will finish the LEO block and I will likely stay in Price for a few months after. This comes to the reasons I wish to work in the Carbon County Jail which is for experience, stability, and planning ahead for when I'm ready to move on with my career.
