I’ve worked for Kroger for 3 years. During my first year of service I was a courtesy clerk which, my responsibilities were to bag customer’s groceries and help customers out to their car if needed. Then I moved to prime close courtesy clerk during the summers when I was out of school which, my responsibilities were to make sure the store was clean, trash was taken out, floors swept, ensure all the lanes were wiped down, and all the carts were off the lot. During my second year of service I moved to produce which my responsibilities were to help customers find what they were looking for, stocking the shelves, and cleaning. Six months later I became the assistant Produce Manager. In this role my responsibilities were ordering the product needed from day to day, ensuring the floors were stocked with all product needed for customers, ensuring all the company goals were fulfilled on a day to day basis, making sure inventory numbers were on target every period, ensuring the processes were done correctly, training new staff members to the correct and the most efficient way to work the floor, ensure that our department was dedicated to maintaining a full and fresh department through proper rotation of the products, and ensure customers have the freshest items available.
