Anesthesia Related Experiences
Over the past four years, I have completed over 40 hours of direct observation of certified registered nurse anesthetists. I have shadowed CRNAs in a multitude of settings covering inpatient and outpatient facilities, independent CRNA models, as well as anesthesia care team models. Facilities I have had the privilege of observing at include: Roane Medical Center, the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Tennessee Eye Care Surgical Center, and East Tennessee Children's Hospital. I have been able to observe anesthesia delivery across the lifespan from as young as 5 months of age to older adults. My observation experiences have included orthopedic, geneal, opthalmic, cardiac, and endovascualr surgery cases.
