• Operations include the use of high voltage turbine generators, diesel generators, high voltage shore power connections (SCADA systems), electrical load balancing between multiple reactor plants, and switchboard operations via coordination with roving technicians.

• Responsibilities include the supervision of semi-annual work center audits for maintaining equipment and supplies within design specifications, ensuring standard procedures are observed for audits, surveillances, inspections, and bench checks for various components to verify satisfactory material condition, identification, packaging, preservation, configuration, and that shelf-life limits were not exceeded.

• In charge of managing USS Ronald Reagan's Quality Assurance training program (to include testing, qualifications, and maintaining training requirements) for over 4000 sailors.

• Responsible for planning, execution, developing the training program for all personnel at the command, and monitoring of overall quality assurance program. Maintains design specifications and standards by directing performance of quality assurance functions such as inspections, horizontal and vertical audits, and nondestructive tests.

• Duties consist of advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and electrical maintenance of lighting circuits, distribution switchboards, control circuits, voltage and frequency regulators, and various other electrical equipment associated with reactor plants.

• Qualified to perform vibrational analysis and collect vibrational data for various mechanical equipment (such as turbine generators, pumps, and auxiliary equipment) in a reactor plant to determine structural integrity and limit potential failure.

• Tested wiring and other system parts for electrical flow and function.
• Tested, troubleshot, and calibrated equipment in shop and field.
• Inspected equipment for defects and safety hazards and completed necessary repairs.
• Performed preventive maintenance tasks to verify proper working condition of electrical panels and conduits.
• Installed, adjusted and calibrated electrical equipment and instrumentation to maintain proper performance.

• Responsible for assisting the university community in the organization and operation of events on the Prince William campus by preparing and operating all sound, lighting, and video equipment needed for events such as culture shows, professional conferences, DJ dances, and press conferences, and by setting up and operating A/V systems as well as other equipment.
