I led a Chinese Ribbon Dancing program for elementary school children, drawing on my own childhood experiences with the art form. My responsibilities included teaching routines, managing weekly practices, and coordinating with adults and moderators. My goal was not only to instruct the children in dance but also to mentor them, fostering leadership skills so they could continue the tradition. The program was designed to connect children to their cultural heritage, yet it was inclusive and open to all, promoting cultural exchange and appreciation.
