Summary

My vision for teaching is to create an environment within my classroom where all students feel safe and comfortable to speak freely, ask questions and have hands on social interactions to deepen their knowledge; and provide them with support and individual led instruction to meet their varying needs, both academically and socially. In my classroom, I will strive to give all my students the opportunity to fall in love with reading and writing, and to learn about events that have taken place in the past that affected the way we live now. I want my students to know that all comments and ideas are important and valued. It is extremely important to me that my students are comfortable talking with me, and asking for help when needed. I will create a space where my students know they are supported and heard.
