After graduating high-school, I took several years to pursue the trade of plumbing before resuming my schooling. During this time I learned many valuable skills, helping to improve my critical thinking ability and strengthen myself for physical labor. This helped me learn that I want to pursue a career that keeps me outdoors, and the resilience I gained from that work has helped me in my other jobs working with the native plant nursery in Hemlock Healers. I want to gain as much experience as possible in the field of ecology so that I can eventually work alongside the National Park/ Forest Service.
