Years Law Enforcement experience
Years Law Enforcement experience
I have had an exemplary career in the Law Enforcement field. I am a 20+ year Veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department where I served as a Deputy Sheriff.
I have served in that role as an Deputy working in the Custody or Jail setting for 8 years. I provided housing, care and monitored any criminal activities within my assigned County Jail (Peter Pitchess Detention Center). I was a leader in that role, serving as a Field Training Officer to newly arriving Deputies.
I received a Medal of Meritorious Conduct Award for saving the life of an inmate within the jail whom attempted suicide by hanging. In this situation, I displayed my knowledge of CPR.
I also served as a Patrol Deputy for 12+ years, Patrolling the streets associated with the City of Industry Sheriff's Station. I also again showed leadership, serving as a Field Training Officer to my fellow and newly arriving Deputies.
I have been in public service for approximately 30+ years. I pride myself on my command presence, tactical awareness, ability and work ethic. I believe that I am ready for any situation that is placed before me. With this, I have become an expert in community and public relations. I consider myself very much a "people person", as I am very friendly and outgoing. For all these attributes, I hope that you see in me all that I know I possess, and choose me for this position.
Thank you for your time.
