International experience as a full-time au pair in Germany for one year, supporting a household with three children (ages 2, 7, and 9). Developed strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills while adapting to a new cultural environment, and managing daily schedules with a high level of responsibility.

• My job while attending university was the position of lead server at the Dirty Buffalo.
• While certainly not as prestigious or demanding as my employment at Chantilly National, I worked here since the beginning of my freshman year, and I became the Server Lead until I left university.
• Working at this restaurant has been a vastly different experience; the customers in Norfolk come from a very different background than the privately owned Chantilly National, and that discord has given me an insight in the best way to interact with all kinds of people of different backgrounds.
• My duties as a lead specifically meant I had to be the first employee in the building for the night shift, and the last one out, monitoring that other servers were keeping up with their responsibilities, and ensuring a smooth closing every night I was scheduled.
• This position gave me the foundation for my journey as a leader, going hand in hand with my degree in Business Management.
• A heavily family-friendly sports grill and bar.

• After working several customer service related jobs throughout early high school, I worked on the restaurant side of a country club as a server for my junior and senior years.
• I have always regarded this job as my most significant, as while the job was high pressure and strenuous due to the type of clientele -albeit stressful at times- the skills I learned and honed made it more than worth it- in both customer service and for my life.
• My job's duties varied: I could come in on a Friday night and be one of three servers working a packed house, forty-five minute waitlist, not getting out until after 1am despite closing at 10- or come in on a morning and be sent to stack chairs at the pool or collect golf balls my entire shift.
• While the inconsistency of this job admittedly annoyed me at the time, I believe it helps me now to be unfazed and always prepared for whatever my job may require.
