• Surveillance and prevention: Recurrent lifeguards conduct water surveillance and enforce safety rules to prevent accidents and injuries. They monitor ocean conditions, including rip currents, and set safety flags as needed.
• Emergency response: They perform ocean rescues, administer first aid and CPR, and contact emergency services for major incidents. This includes responding to boating emergencies, missing persons, and medical calls.
• Customer service: As a representative of the Fire Department, lifeguards act as a point of contact for the public, providing information and ensuring a safe and enjoyable beach environment.
• Maintenance: They inspect and maintain rescue equipment, check communication devices, and keep the lifeguard towers and assigned areas clean.

• Instruction: Teach ocean and water safety, CPR and first aid skills, rescue techniques, and proper use of rescue equipment like paddleboards.
• Supervision: Maintain constant observation of the assigned program area to ensure the safety and security of all participants and the public.
• Physical conditioning: Lead participants in physically demanding exercises, such as swimming, running, and calisthenics, to improve their stamina.
• Behavioral development: Instill core values of integrity, teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship in junior lifeguards.
• Professional conduct: Interact professionally and courteously with participants, parents, and other emergency service personnel.
• Emergency response: Act decisively and effectively in an emergency situation.

This role supports the Operations team by helping plan, coordinate, and execute concerts and live events. The Assistant Production Manager works closely with the Senior Director of Production to ensure all technical and logistical aspects of productions run smoothly from pre-production through completion.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating all production elements for concerts and events
• Support event execution, including stage management, audio, lighting, and general production needs
• Communicate with artists, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all technical requirements are met
• Interpret technical riders and assist in advancing event details
• Help manage load-ins, rehearsals, performances, and load-outs
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional backstage and venue environment
• Supervise stagehands, crew members, and external production teams as needed
• Assist with scheduling labor, sourcing equipment, and managing production materials
• Prepare reports, track expenses, and support budgeting efforts
• Act as a point of communication between departments to ensure seamless event execution

• Install and disassemble concert and event productions
• Load and unload production trucks
• Assemble event, production, and concert equipment
• Perform construction of set pieces and other necessary items for events and concerts
• Assist with theatrical and event equipment, during and after events and concerts
• Move furniture and necessary equipment; assist with general hall maintenance and repair
• Ensure proper safety at all times
• Serve as an Electrician, Spot Op, LX Board Operator, or LX Board Programmer
• Serve as a Stage Manager, Deck Hand, Carpenter, or Runner
• Serve as a Video Technician, Operator, Programmer or Digital Projectionist
