• I currently am an instructional assistant at Mt. Comfort Elementary in a high intensity behavior resource special education classroom. Our classroom is K-5, so I work with all elementary grades/ages.

• I was hired as an Instructional Assistant for Mt. Vernon's ENL Summer School five year ago. I have had the privilege of working with the students for the past five summers.
• I have assisted an amazing teacher with managing the students, watching over the rooms, leading activities, supervising field trips, assisting students with their work, and helping prepare the lessons. I provided support during class, group lessons, and classroom activities.

• I managed Libby's for over a year. I was the manager of both store locations.
• I was responsible for doing a wide variety of duties including hiring, training, firing, scheduling, working off site events, planning/coordinating events, managing social media, building relationships with customers, creating new systems, implementing procedures, handling all questions/issues with employees, problem solving, organizing, creating ads, running errands, and more. I encouraged and motivated employees to be productive and engaged in their work by building relationships and earning respect. I improved safety procedures to create safe working conditions for workers by making inclement weather plans, deciding on clothing regulations, and organizing/leading staff meetings so everyone was informed on all changes and reminded of policies.

• I was a substitute teacher for Eastbrooks preschool, two elementary schools, and the middle school.
• I got amazing experience subbing, including learning different classroom routines, teaching different grades, seeing different classroom behavior management strategies, and getting comfortable being responsible for a full classroom.

• I regularly deep cleaned a professors house while I was a student at Taylor University.
• I would organize and clean using a variety of cleaning equipment, disinfectants and machines.
• I would do this twice a week for around a year.

• I worked at Libby's Ice Cream while in high school.
• I helped train new employees, worked off site events, performed excellent customer service, cleaned, made customer/company orders, organized retail, and built relationships with my co-workers and employer.

I am currently attending IWU with a major in Integrative Studies and a minor in Elementary Education. I transferred to IWU so I can do their online program and get more experience working full time in an elementary school.
