• Performed installation, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground power lines.
• Conducted fault location on all types of distribution systems using various testing equipment.
• Repaired or replaced damaged poles and anchors following storm damage or vehicle accidents.
• Operated bucket trucks to access high voltage lines for repairs or maintenance activities.
• Removed trees from around high voltage power lines to prevent outages caused by tree limbs touching wires.
• Utilized specialized tools including hot sticks, rubber gloves, cable slings and lineman pliers.

As an operator three I help spot equipment, assign job tasks to the operators below me, I am skilled at operating all of our work equipment and can trouble shoot most issues with the equipment that we use on a day to day. I help those newer in the field recognize unsafe situations and how to best communicate with my self and others in the area. I like maintaining an organized work space to help keep an efficient work flow.

• I started the girls wrestling program and trained both boys and girls the same way I was trained when myself and the rest of my team won back to back CIF wrestling championships. Many of the kids have been successful throughout their high school career.

• Construct concrete pads to set cabinets on, trench from cabinet to powerline pole, disconnect cable then delash and dispose of old cable, hang new cable then lash and make connection.

• I worked with the U.S. Ambassador of Spain for four years and was eventually invited to Spain to promote fitness and health to the local kids of Madrid.
• Also organized and setup the fitness center for President Obama whom I met multiple times.

• As a Crew we remained on the priority list because of our job efficiency and clean safety record.
• As a derrick hand my job was latching stands of pipe/rod going into the hole and unlatching coming out. Replacing anything damaged throughout the trip.
