I receive and review Class A, AS, B, D, and G initial pharmacy license applications as well as change in ownership applications for completeness and accuracy. I prepare and send deficiency letters to pharmacy applicants outlining deficient items and resolution steps in a timely manner. Once applications can be considered complete with my department, I then route the application to the appropriate department for review. I also keep pharmacy applicants up to date with the status of their applications. I assist and help resolve questions from other pharmacy licensing specialists on application processes. I also assist with helping review other pharmacy license applications when there are staff changes or increases in applications received. I helped to train new pharmacy licensing specialists and supported my team while also managing my workload. And I handle pharmacy license related inquiries from the public in a professional manner, while maintaining excellent customer service.
