Accomplishments

    One of my biggest personal accomplishments was overcoming a chronic and deadly heart and lung disease called Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. I was diagnosed when I was 19 and told I had 7 years left to live. However, I had a bilateral lung transplant and am now happy, healthy, and can't wait to see what the future holds for me!

Hobbies

My hobbies include ball room dancing, reading, and playing video games! I also enjoy spending time with my 1 year old niece - family time is very important to me. Learning is something I am very passionate about and I am always trying to learn something new or telling others about the new things I have learned. I think it's important to always challenge yourself to continue learning at all stages of life.
