• Observed PA Ammori assist in multiple surgeries including trauma cases, neurosurgery, plastics, general, thoracic, vascular, and orthopedics.
• I appreciated observing how essential a role PAs play in the operating room, and how important their skills are to the team and to ensure optimum patient outcomes.
• PA Ammori also invited me to observe her manage patients on the floor and take consults.

Rasha Kesto, PA-C: 51 hours- June 6-17, 2022 (Ascension Providence Hospital in Novi and Southfield, MI).
• Observed PA Kesto meet patients in pre-op and review the procedure and medications, prepare surgical sites, assist in the case by docking the robot, and sit bedside to assist with suctioning, retracting and troubleshooting the robot. I also observed her suture the skin, undock the robot, and help wake patients.

• I welcomed this observership as it further showed me the interdisciplinary nature of PA practice.
