2015 Connecticut Representative for Teen Speak Up against Epilepsy

I traveled to Washington D.C. for a two-day advocacy training and then spoke on Capitol Hill to our Senators and Representatives telling them my story of living with Epilepsy while advocating for the legalization of medical cannabis oil for individuals living with Drug-Resistant Epilepsy.

After, I completed a year of service to spread awareness and end the stigma around Epilepsy. I spoke at the Hartford Club and the Epilepsy Walk sharing my story and experience on Capitol Hill. I also educated the teachers at Waterford High School on Epilepsy and how to perform seizure first aid.
