I observed Dr.Khan in his clinic twice a week for the summer. He is an hematologist oncologist and showed me how oncology works. While shadowing him we met with about 20 or more patients a day . I was able to learn about different cancers and how they affect the patient. He showed me how he charts for the patients and I also was able to hold many conversations with different patients about how there treatment was going. I learned about chemotherapy and many different drugs associated with it. This experience was life changing for me.
