Work History

Abstractor's Assistant

Norman County Abstract
04.2025 - Current

My job as an Abstractor's Assistant is to answer phone calls and assist people with questions they have about an Abstract they have submitted or what they are supposed to do when needing a new Abstract or updating an existing one. I also do all the name and tract searches, which are finding out if there are any new documents of record or if there are tax liens, judgments, or bankruptcy issues under the buyer's or seller's names of a property. I also search for documents and type all documents up for a new Abstract or an Abstract the needs to be up to date. This job entails a lot of attention to detail and great costumer service skills.

Carefree Living
05.2024 - 07.2024
  • I worked as a resident assistant working night shifts. My main role working night shifts was to clean all the main living areas. I cleaned the kitchen, washed any dishes that were still dirty, wiped off countertops, and checked on all leftovers in the fridge including any beverages in there to ensure they were still good. I wiped down all door handles, light switches, remotes, and flat surfaces. I also dusted anything and everything swept and mopped the floors. If any residents needs changed on the charts, I followed up with it. Sometimes I would check blood pressure, blood sugar, and oxygen levels, and pass medications every morning. I would assist some residents with transfers from bed to bathroom and vice versa. I would assist in changing clothes and help by applying some cream medications or lotions when needed. I got to have one-on-one conversations with residents who were night owls and be there for all of them when needed.

Barista

Nutrition Gone Wild
03.2024 - 05.2024
  • Fast working barista with little knowledge but working in a busy friendly environment. Making teas and shakes of any kind, mixing anything and everything together to give my clients all the caffeine and protein they need to give them energy throughout the day. The way I get to meet so many people and other small-town businesses gives me a feel good in my heart I love the small talk I get to have every day and creating new friendships and putting smiles on their faces!

Daycare Teacher

02.2022 - 12.2023
  • I worked at Children’s Corner which “offers exposure to all the early childhood development stages in children.” We are looking for individuals that love to work with children. If you want to join a fun, professional work environment with strong classroom management.” As a teacher in the daycare I learned patience, how to work with kids when they are upset or angry, I delt with many accident reports and injuries in the gym, classroom, and playground. I took online classes to prepare me for any and everything that may come my way. I have always loved nannying and babysitting and working in the daycare showed me how much I want to work with children in early childhood elementary education than anything. This experience has really grown my love for kids and my love for the education field. I am now more eager than ever to accomplish my goals to work in the elementary education field.

Certified Nursing Assistant

Benedictine
03.2021 - 05.2022
  • I worked as a certified Nurse's Assistant. This included helping residents on any type of day-to-day activities such as helping them get dressed, brushing teeth, brushing or combing their hair. I also assisted them in the bathroom or bringing them to the dining room, I helped feed residents and played games, colored with them and assisted them on walks to get their exercise. I also have good communicational skills with this job by communicating with residents' family members who might have any questions about their loved ones and also having good communication with my residents to support any needs they may have. I became more proficient in my communication skills by having to communicate with the fellow nursing staff and additional nursing home staff.

Nanny/Babysitter

01.2016 - 01.2022
  • Babysitting throughout high school was a great learning experience. With the need to be able to cook and feed kids, washing up hands and faces before and after eating. I also gained experience in changing diapers, and outfits. Watching them and keeping them safe and out of trouble. Keeping a clean kitchen/ work environment makes it easier on you but also teaches kids to clean as you go. As a full time, nanny, I was able to gain additional experience, understanding the importance of patience with children but also being able to lay down the rules and be a good role model. Being responsible to wake up early and get kids up dressed, fed, and out the door on time was a great eye opener and an adult role that I am now better prepared for.
