During my short time as a substitute at the Newark valley elementary school I worked as a teachers aid in classroom as well as an aid in the cafeteria.

Assisting teachers with each individual child as needed, helping take the class from special to special, making sure each child was being attentive and listening to what the teacher was asking the class to do. As well as helping individual child with extra help if needed.

During my time in the cafeteria I watched over a few different classes while they ate lunch helping if they needed it and making sure each child was enjoying lunch and being calm and respectful to their piers.
