Kallie Larsen

As an emerging clinician, I am committed to fostering a therapeutic environment rooted in person-centered therapy and liberation psychology, with a strong emphasis on somatic skill-building and awareness. Currently, I am gaining hands-on experience as a practicum therapist at the Counseling and School Psychology Clinic at UNL where I work with diverse client concerns. My passion lies in working with a broad range of presenting concerns with a particular focus on trauma and its impact on the mind-body connection.

• Managed a residence hall floor of up to 75 residents at SDSU, providing one-on-one mentoring and counseling on various personal and academic issues. Developed and implemented educational programming to support student skill-building and adjustment to college life. Referred students to campus mental health services and supervised a team of resident advisors to ensure a supportive community environment.
