• Led a cross-functional team of 11 engineers to implement a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, resulting in an increase in deployment frequency and a reduction in rollback incidents.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to optimize microservices architecture on Kubernetes.
• Led the migration of legacy applications to containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. This initiative enhanced scalability, improved resource utilization, and resulted in a 36% reduction in infrastructure costs and maintenance.
• Architected a multi-cluster Kafka deployment with Debezium.

Project Overview: INCOIS is India's Tsunami Warning Centre, providing real-time alerts for tsunamis and ocean-related disasters. It monitors seismic activity in the Indian Ocean and issues warnings to mitigate the impact on coastal communities.

• I have excellent domain knowledge in scientific and ocean science.
• Designed the database schemas, tables, and relationships.
• Collaborated with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand and implement requirements.
• I understood the business logic and translated it to the DB logic and PL/SQL program.
• Automated routine tasks, like monitoring the seismic data, the magnitude of an earthquake, and the early warning system, increased the efficiency of the warning system by 40%.
• Integrated the Google API with Geo Maps to showcase the alert flags and seismic info.

Client Overview: IMD (India Meteorological Department) is responsible for providing weather forecasts, climate monitoring, and issuing early warnings related to severe weather events.

• Collaborated with other development teams (front-end, back-end, and application developers) to ensure seamless integration between the database and applications.
• Identified the performance bottlenecks and worked on improving database efficiency.
• Reviewed and analyzed the execution plans to optimize query performance.
• Automated the SMS alerts and reports generation by using Shell scripting and PL/SQL.

Client Overview: OPRM (Online Passenger Reservation System) is the POC and was created as a demo for RTC. This system allows passengers to check availability, select seats, make payments, and confirm bookings remotely.

• Quickly learned PL/SQL and GeoDB to maintain the geospatial data to complete the POC.
• Integrated the third-party services, Google API, to track the bus route.
