Experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in team building, managing change leadership project's, problem solving, and contributing to team success. I am applying with over 16 years of experience in long term care, including working 12 of those years for the state of Wisconsin. I started in health care by obtaining a CNA certification. As a CNA/resident care technician, I worked in a facility caring for the intellectual disabilities under licensed nursing supervision. I am now the Director of Nursing of a long-term care facility, where my hard work and dedication brought the facility from a one star facility to a two star and the best state survey in 10 years. I value communication, accountability, great patient care, and respect among professional colleagues and what we all bring to the table to form a solid interdisciplinary team. I believe that I am a great asset to any team and I am a very flexible individual. I work well with all levels of nursing from CNA, DON, Nurse Consultants, social worker, and administration. Accomplished a successful 2025 survey of 3 very low level tags and developing a plan of correction with the facility administrator to educate staff and assure compliance. Demonstrating the ability to develop a good team to run an every growing facility. I am looking for a solid team to bring my skills, knowledge and positive energy to. As well as a work life balance that I can manage the duties of being a full time employee as as well as a mom.
