I am applying with over 16 years of experience in long term care, including working 12 of those years for the state of Wisconsin. I started in health care by obtaining a CNA certification. As a CNA/resident care technician, I worked in a facility caring for the intellectual disabilities under licensed nursing supervision. I am now the Director of Nursing of a long-term care facility, where my hard work and dedication brought the facility from a one star facility to a two star and the best state survey in 10 years. I value communication, accountability, great patient care, and respect among professional colleagues and what we all bring to the table to form a solid interdisciplinary team. I believe that I am a great asset to any team and I am a very flexible individual. I work well with all levels of nursing from CNA, DON, Nurse Consultants, social worker, and administration.
