Maintenance Management - Equipment Management, P.O. Management, coordination with the shop to verify we have equipment on the roads every day. Forklifts, Tractors, Trailers and yard equipment must have consistent availability for daily operations. Coordinating insurance and registration for entire fleet of drivers. Creating and Monitoring work orders and purchase orders for all operational assets. Preventative maintenance scheduling.
Customer service and sales support representative- Initial representative for customer interactions, ensuring flawless coordination of freight deliveries and accessorial management. Collaborated with sales team and operations team to match expectations of customers and their specific delivery conditions.
Management trainee program- Successfully completed the Management training program (Class of 2019). Which 200 employees total, (since 1981) have completed. Completing this program helped gain cross functional experience throughout every department of the company, focusing on team leadership, servant leadership, custom relations/sales and operational strategies.
Inbound supervisor- (Am) Supervise a team of dock workers 6-10 dock workers and 20 drivers. Team lead, head route planning, employee reviews, cost efficient strategies and management of P/L.
Dispatcher – Directing day to day operations of drivers and customers and manage real-time logistics of customer deliveries and pickups. Ensuring the freight delivered on time and distributing the active pickups that get scheduled through our customer service representatives to the drivers.
Outbound supervisor- (PM) Managing freight levels of all of 70+ Terminals throughout the company. Maximizing trailer utilization and load planning to reduce costs and improve delivery efficiency.
