As a social worker, especially with youth, I've gained many skills known for high productivity and efficiency in task completion. I've specialized in child and family welfare policy, family crisis intervention, and developmental psychology to support young individuals' well-being and growth. I believe these skills will translate to being a leader in the United States Army, due to the fact that some of the best leaders are those who possess emotional intelligence and care for those around them. I've been able to excel in communication, empathy, and problem-solving to foster positive outcomes in challenging situations. I've had to navigate complex cases with patience and understanding, ensuring every action contributes to the best interest of clients, employees, and the goal itself. Being trusted to lead my staff throughout my experiences has led me to grow exponentially as a leader. Especially when the task at hand is bigger than myself and the team as individuals.
