Job Purpose

The Franchise Relations Specialist works with franchise operations and franchisees to improve and elevate the level of service and assistance provided to Red Roof franchise partners. This role will provide individualized assistance to franchisees on various operational processes and assist departments with franchisee processes, questions, and concerns.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists Franchisees and Operations with all aspects of administrative functions, including but not limited to, including RediStay, Medallia, Guest Relations, Group Bookings, Red Academy training, and Insurance Compliance.
  • Follow-up on franchise assignments including brand/regional meeting registration, insurance renewals, purchasing, brand standards, and required training.
  • Provide individual assistance to franchisees on a variety of operational matters from billing, OTA setup, revue management, meeting quality and brand standards, product purchasing, etc.
  • Helps franchisees with technical needs when using company databases and processing direct bill charges and credit card charges, PMS, red academy, shift 4, etc.
  • Seek assistance from the company's Sales and Marketing department and Accounting department when necessary.
  • Works with departments as a liaison to franchisees for specific questions or concerns.
  • Inform franchisees on support programs available through the brand, such as Redvenue, Redisales, recruiting supports, vendor supports, Redibill, etc.
  • Act as a cultural liaison for franchisees and assist with language differences and translation for the understanding of operational processes.
  • Works closely with franchisees with OTAs (Online Travel Agents).
  • Travel to franchise locations or corporate events to provide in-person support.
  • Loading documents and notes in SalesForce.

Qualifications

  • The position requires a minimum of a High School or GED education.
  • At least five years of on-site hotel management experience.
  • Proficient computer skills including email, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with multiple personality types, and cultures.
  • Ability to react quickly and efficiently to multiple service requests.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills as well as superior relationship-building skills.
