  • Work effectively in industrial teams and have the ability to communicate ideas to technical and non-technical listeners
  • Data analysis using IMAGEJ, VIC-2D, and VIC-3D
  • Organizational and decision tools: TQM tools, Six Sigma tools and House of Quality (quality functional diagrams)
  • Experience using Catia V5, ENOVIA V5 (LCA), ENOVIA MatrixOne (PLM) CADRA, Drawing Notes Manager
  • Experience working projects that encompass tip to tail systems including Transmissions, Power Plant, Rotors, Airframe, Landing Gear, Furnishings, and Flight Controls

Projects

  • Recycling Fiber Reinforced Composite Pre-Preg Leftover Using a Water-Soluble PVA Backing Film - Created the idea of using a water-soluble backing film for the composite pre-impregnated laminate, so that the backing film can be removed by simply rinsing it with water. Successfully manufactured laminates using the developed recycling process.
  • Maintenance and Robotics Standoff 2 - Developed a structured introduction to robotics for students under the Part 147 curriculum that can be used to familiarize students with co-robotic operation in MRO. Applied Six Sigma methodologies and tools during the development.
  • Aircraft Composite Technology - Fabricated wing section using carbon fiber pre-preg and VARTM curing procedure. Used various CNC machines to manufacture parts. Developed tool paths and simulations using Catia V5 for CAM. Used composite wet-layup methods to create a Purdue Pete mascot head and a clipboard.
  • ENOVIA MatrixOne Reason/Description Revision - Instrumental in a Cost Savings project that revised a key function in MatrixOne that now streamlines the process to update the Reason Description for engineering changes after the initial R/D has been generated. This helped Butler Aerospace & Defense to save the customer, Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., 33% of the Hours Saved goal, and exceeded the customer yearly requirement. This project was presented to Top Management.
