Computational Cognitive Development Lab, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA

  • Annotate and categorize children’s actions in videos where they were provided with different instructions to explore the playsets
  • Present at weekly meetings with research team members to share possible hypotheses for exploratory data analysis and raise questions about coding to arrive at consensus


RESEARCH ASSISTANT,  01/2023 to Present

Center on the Ecology of Early Development (CEED), Boston University, Boston, MA

  • Completed the training to use Computerized Language ANalysis (CLAN) software to transcribe and EUDICO Linguistic Annotator (ELAN) to annotate videos
  • Used CLAN and ELAN to annotate and time stamp transcriptions of verbal interactions between teachers and dual language learners in the context of a project about the influence of a conversation-based intervention, Conversation Compass, on classroom interactions
  • Conduct literature review and annotation of articles that use diverse assessments of classroom dimensions, such as peer interaction and child engagement, to empirically examine the most optimal tools that capture individual differences in preschool classrooms

Academic Projects

Literacy Block, Spring 2022

  • Led a group to design a literacy block unit including word study, comprehension, and vocabulary lessons
