I would then contact the billing department and request them to provide my company with the appropriate credits for late shipments that were within FedEx, UPS, etc. control. I would redline the invoices with the revised, correct charges, and then send the invoices to accounts payable for payment processing.

My team and I were responsible for ensuring our shipping supplies were always in stock and ordering needed supplies in a timely manner to ensure we did not run out of shipping supplies.
