
I majored in Data Science at university, where I studied a wide range of fields including statistics, machine learning, databases, and programming. What I have valued most is not merely absorbing knowledge from classes, but consistently maintaining the mindset of “how to perceive real-world problems through data and derive solutions with appropriate approaches.” Data may appear objective, but conclusions can vary greatly depending on how it is collected and analyzed. That is why I have always challenged myself with questions such as “Why choose this method?” and “Which variables should serve as the analytical axis?” while honing my logical thinking skills.
My academic efforts have been reflected in tangible achievements. In my first year, I received the President Walker Award for earning a perfect 4.0 GPA while completing fewer than 36 credits, demonstrating consistent performance across both foundational and specialized courses. In my second year, I was selected for the Dean’s List (GPA 3.50 or higher). I take pride in these results as outcomes of steady, well-planned daily effort rather than short-term cramming.
Since September 2024, I have been interning at Turing Technologies Inc. for approximately eleven months, gaining experience as an IT and Digital Marketing Intern. In system design and development, I focused on building a large-scale Python-based keyword management system to improve SEO performance. By applying natural language processing to automatically extract, categorize, and consolidate duplicate and synonymous keywords, I significantly reduced manual workload and improved SEO maintenance efficiency.
I also streamlined the YouTube video production process, which previously required nearly a full day per video. By introducing automation tools such as ChatGPT for script generation, VOICEVOX for narration, and Vrew for editing, and by creating manuals and templates for team use, I reduced production time from over eight hours to approximately three. This improvement enabled more consistent content output and contributed to increased view counts and subscriber growth.
In digital marketing, I analyzed Instagram and TikTok data, tracking metrics such as like rate, save rate, and posting frequency. By visualizing performance trends with heatmaps, I identified optimal posting times and content patterns, leading to higher engagement. Additionally, I calculated product-level engagement rates on TikTok and optimized product display order on the e-commerce site, contributing to improved conversion rates.
Through these experiences, I have developed the ability to derive actionable strategies from data and translate them into measurable business outcomes. I aim to continue growing through continuous learning and to contribute positively in collaborative environments.
