  • Primarily work as back-end software engineer supporting WorkApps - a premium smartsheet product. Worked on several key product enhancements and integrations with other smartsheet products to provide more customer value and increase product adoption. Includes working with product managers, designers, front-end engineers to design low latency scalable backend services.
  • Worked with the AI team to create ingestion pipeline from our Aurora mySql & dynamo databases to enhance our recommendation engine.
  • Worked on the design & development of asynchronous messaging architecture used on the server side data processing for eventual consistency.
  • Developed an infrastructure deployment pipeline moving the team from manual infra deployments to an automated workflow.
  • Serve on a group of security champions for the company where we implement and ensure best security practices are followed in our respective teams. It also includes running game days and doing security review for the product.

  • Led the design & development of modernizing the architecture using Lambda functions & moving away from huge EC2 hosts. Cut down hosting costs to 1/10th, for majority of micro-services with ability to auto scale on demand.
  • Automated HBO incident reporting systems from manual csv uploads of the error to a real time dashboard with notification system with errors in production content. Decreased the SLAs to fix content issues from days to 1-3 hours. It further lead to formation of Incident Response & Management team using these tools to deal with content issues.
