2. Home Visits: Conduct home visits to engage with students and families, understand the reasons behind absenteeism, and encourage regular school attendance. Provide information (Alabama Compulsory Law) about the importance of education and the legal implications of truancy.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with counselors, teachers, social workers and other school staff to identify and coordinate interventions.
4. Parent/Guardian Communication: Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's attendance. Provide support and resources to help improve attendance.
