Clinician at the crisis stabilization unit working with those who have been brought in via a Baker Act, Marchman Act or come in voluntarily. Duties include conducting full psychosocial assessments at admission, and developing treatment plans and discharge plans. Conducting group therapy sessions for both crisis unit patients and inpatient substance abuse treatment patients. Member of daily treatment team meetings where crucial decisions are made for each patient.

• Advocated for foster children by facilitating access to community resources and services to maximize safety and well-being of child.
• Attended proceedings and testified for reunification and permanent placement cases.
• Worked with parents to motivate and assist them in working on their case plans with the goal of reunification.
• Worked with high-risk families involved with open DCF cases to prevent removing the children from the home. Provided them resources, brief therapy sessions and motivated them to make changes in their lives.

• Conducted in-depth assessments to determine if children were safe from harm and abuse at home.
• Remained objective in handling each case, especially when children and families were in high-stress situations.
• Assessed each child's unique needs and coordinated delivery of appropriate services and resources.
• Interviewed children, members of families, medical personnel and law enforcement to gain valuable information for each case.
• Trained new investigators in the field on how to accurately work an investigation from start to finish. Filled in as supervisor for vacations or time away from the office.

• Applied skill in color theory and composition to bring client visions to fruition.
• Created marketing materials, including brochures, flyers and product catalogs to brand standards.
• Designed all draperies and soft treatments for the company,
• Assisted in scheduling sales and installations.
• Assisted in book keeping and payroll duties.
