Energetic Middle School Teacher genuinely interested in and respectful of young people. Passionate about English and Writing- but also History and committed to maintaining up-to-date knowledge in field. Trained in unique needs of middle school learners. Experienced with one to one technology. Hard working with a focus of collaboration with a team to provide a rigorous academic program while focusing on strength of character. I believe in developing the whole child: academics, arts, and athletics. Excellent parental communication techniques for middle school environment. • Achieved high WrAP Scores (standardized writing Assessment)
• Created a website to share my Middle School Students' writing pieces with parents and fellow teachers
• Voted 3 time Teacher of the Year

Wrap, the Writing Assessment Program measures student writing achievement to help pinpoint students' writing strengths and weaknesses. My students' score were one of the top scores each year- due to a constant focus on scores, and adjustment to instruction due to those scores, with high motivation and encouragement.
