• Maintained skills and trained co-workers in the assembly and solder of surface mount components such as 0201 and 01005 devices and QFN type packages ranging from
• 7mm.
• Established inventory management of work in process, post wafer fab material, & evaluation boards for the design group of 10 Engineers and 8 technicians
• Actively trained assembly group communications with engineers & technicians to ensure accuracy and strong attention to detail to ensure first pass assembly success.

• Assembly support for multiple engineering teams consistently meeting the needs of their development programs and compressed time tables
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions to build, die attach, and tune both GaAs and SOI Amplifiers, Switches, PA & Front End Modules, and Hybrid Prototype assemblies

• Products operate in the 700, 800, 900 MHz RF bands as well as 2.4 and 4.9 GHz ISM bands
• Performs engineering tests, collects performance data, and analyzes results

• Diagnoses failures by running an RF test suite on the returned product
• Minimizes scrap by performing all rework functions, carefully removing and replacing faulty components
• Performs inspection ensuring parts and assemblies met production specifications and were defect-free
• Reports failure mode and corrective action to QA/QC
• Maintains inventory of customer owned and company owned products as well as components and sub-assemblies required for repair
• Supervises, mentors and trains assemblers on soldering technique, processes, and procedures
• Provides work instructions and documentation to both in-house and sub-contract houses for reworking and upgrading products and sub-assemblies including required material list, order of operation, and positioning of components and wires for various assembly jobs
• Extensive knowledge in surface mount and thru-hole soldering of components including BGAs, J-lead, gull wing, LCCs, and SOICs
• Mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and chassis
• Performs on line inspection ensuring parts and assemblies met production specifications and standards.

• Mentored and trained assemblers on soldering and manufacturing processes and procedures
• Primary interface to QC on all assembly issues
• Maintain WIP inventory to meet production requirements and schedules
• Ability to read assembly prints and make appropriate changes to enhance manufacturing processes to minimize errors and cost
• Extensive PCB experience, ability to solder thru-hole, surface mount, and fine pitch components
• Thermal compression bonding of beam lead diodes
• Assembly of suspended stripline, microstrip, and substrate component attach
• Engineering support, can work from engineering sketches with minimal supervision.
