Planning and implementing individualized breastfeeding plans for mother's, their babies and families, including NICU babies.

Conducting Outpatient Bilirubin/ Weight clinic as well as Outpatient breastfeeding consultations.

Coordinating with Pump Depot to provide breast pumps for home use.

Coordinating with Mothers Milk Bank to provide Donor Milk To Go for home use.

• Provided assistance to mothers and their babies who had routine, complex or multi risk factors that could cause problems with breastfeeding/lactation
• Continually improved knowledge, skills and performance based on feedback and self-identified professional developmental needs.
• Identified process improvements in day to day functioning of department and documented teaching to nurse interns, new staff and medical residents in breastfeeding/lactation.
• Collaborated with physicians and other members of the team and devised well coordinated treatment approaches
• Taught Infant Care and Safety classes, sibling classes and backup for breastfeeding classes.
