Once a week I'd go see my mentee and we would talk about things going on in their life and try to help them see a future. Always be there for them and even work on skills if they ask. It is about being someone they can rely on for help in school.

• I would tutor my brother's cousins in school for a few years. It was mostly on math because their mom didn't know how else to help them.

Volunteer work. We would go walking around in different areas passing bags to the homeless. Each bag had the same things, which were essentials for living. We would also give them water and some food. One time it was a slice of pizza.

• At an Elementary School, I would watch the kids during recess and my job was to talk to those that were by themselves or felt like they needed someone to talk to. I like working with kids.
