Summary

Longstanding career in home health care after completing two years in the Medical-Surgical hospital setting. Was offered a job to assist in the Quality Assurance department while continuing to be part time in the field at Scripps Home Health in San Diego.

Moved from San Diego to Conifer to be closer to the mountains and skiing. Was hired at Mount Evans Home Health Care and Hospice and continue to work as a QA RN which includes precepting new hires, overseeing QAPI projects, OASIS training, EMR training, visit patients as needed, have been substitute RN manager as needed and provide ongoing clinician education to ensure quality performance and outcomes.

Returning to a more "hands on" nursing job in the hospice setting and/or taking on a nursing role that provides support to the hospice team of clinicians and providers, is my goal.
