I am committed to student growth with a focus on literacy instruction that is effective in teaching students to read and comprehend on grade level. I am skillful in relationship building and in establishing a rights and responsibilities based classroom environment that is rich in risk taking and respectful discussion. I am accomplished at implementing HQIM during Tier 1 through my tireless devotion to differentiation based upon reflection on both my impact and student response to instruction. I have been successful in improving student achievement using small group interventions (RTI) as well as small group instruction in response to Tier 1. I am persistent and dedicated to each student's academic growth and social-emotional well being.
