During my clinical rotations at Rocking Horse Community Health Center, I provided comprehensive care to patients across the lifespan in the office setting as well as utilizing Telehealth

for acute and follow up visits. During my clinical rotation at Union County Health Department, I led community outreach programs including community vaccine administration and health wellness day. At all of the locations, I collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline care processes.

• Agile, versatile, and cross-functional ability to work various shifts in various departments in all three of the hospital centers within the Mercy Health System such as in the ER at Dayton Springfield Emergency Center; ER, Intensive Care Unit, Step Down & Medical Surgical Unit, and Outpatient treatment area in the Urbana Hospital; as well as in the ICU, CVICU, ER, Step Units, and Medical Surgical Units at Springfield Regional Medical Care Medical Center.
• Functions in dual role as Nurse Supervisor at Mercy Health Urbana Hospital.

• Charge Nurse in Endoscopy; provided triage, pre & post procedural direct patient care, administered moderate sedation medications per physician orders ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols during procedures, and assisted with GI procedures.

• Supported and assisted with bronchoscopy & EBUS procedures with Pulmonology Physicians, spinal nerve block procedures with Pain Management Physician, assisted GI Physicians with procedures in the OR, as well as aftercare for patients following these procedures.

•Versatile and adaptable, with the skills and experience to work across various units including ICU, ER, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Same-Day Surgery.

• Triaged, assessed, and provided care to patients in the admission, procedural, and recovery phases.
• Performed moderate sedation and assisted Gastroenterologist Physicians while monitoring and assessing patient’s condition during their scheduled endoscopy procedure(s).

• Provided comprehensive, quality critical care in a 36 bed ICU & CVICU to a variety of patient populations with a vast range of critical and chronic conditions as well as patients requiring open heart surgery.
• Recovered ICU patients post-operatively in the ICU after undergoing surgeries/procedures performed in the OR.
• Trained in the care and management of patients requiring Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT/Prisma Flex), Artic Temperature Management System, RotoProne Bed Therapy System, & Neurosurgical Procedures.

• Provided comprehensive, quality critical care in a 16 bed Level 1 Trauma Center SICU to a variety of patient populations with a vast range of critical conditions that includes but not limited to Level One traumas, surgical, cardiac (MI, hypothermia, dysrhythmias), neurosurgery/neurological (TBI, Stroke), medical/surgical, orthopedic, septic, respiratory distress/failure, vascular, management of patients in RotoProne Beds, and mechanically ventilated patients.

• Charge Nurse responsible for 16 bed Level Two Emergency Department.
• Provided adult and pediatric emergency nursing care for a population over 55,000 military beneficiaries and civilians.
• Deployed twice to a 25-bed medical staging facility- Appointed Infection Control Officer and Staff Development and Education Coordinator for 50 active-duty service members. Supported staging facility base in-processing lines by vaccinating troops against Smallpox, Anthrax, and any other required vaccinations. Assisted with mission movements of MEDEVAC air and ground patients and stabilized critical care patients prior to air transport.

• Charge Nurse responsible for providing adult and pediatric emergency nursing care in a Level Two Emergency Department.
